Stampin' Up! Perched In A Tree

Good day stampers and crafters.  I have a workshop coming up and I wanted to craft with this beautiful Perched in a Tree Stamp and Die set.  This particular card is replicated from the Stampin' Up! Christmas Mini Catalog from July - December 2022 with a few changes.  This is such a great little set for all sorts of occasions.  Today, I chose a kindness sentiment that is included with the stamp set. I have also included pictures at the bottom of the post of how this set can be "stepped up" from a basic card.

Instructions:

Crumb Cake cardstock cut to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and fold. Orientation will be landscape. This is the base layer.

Second panel is Crumb Cake cut to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8.  Emboss this layer with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the center of the base layer.

Stamp the bird and branch on basic white with Smoky Slate ink and color according to taste.  Die cut these pieces out and adhere to the left side of the embossed panel.

Die cut the flowers die with basic white cardstock.  Sponge desired amount of Daffodil ink onto the die cut and adhere it to the end of the branch.

You can then stamp the sentiment directly onto the embossed panel, or as I did, stamp it in Memento Black Ink onto basic white cardstock and punch with double oval punch and adhere to the panel.

Stampinup Wisteria Wishes (Wedding)

I know a lot of folks look at this stamp set and purple immediately comes to mind.  However, because of the time of year, the first thing I thought of was those Beautiful Outdoor Weddings with gorgeous White Wisteria hanging from the trees as the brides walks down the aisle to her groom. I tend to be a little theatrical at times.  Regardless, this particular card with Wisteria could be for any occasion such as Birthday, Anniversary or encouragement according to the sentiment used.

He's The Man Greeting made with Stampin'Up! Designer Series Paper

 Hello Stampers and Crafters!

Thanks to the StampinUp... He's The Man 12"x12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, I was able to make a cute card for my SIL.  And the good news?  All I needed was the DSP and basic black cardstock.  This pack has some glorious punch outs that assist in making the process so very easy.

Items needed for this card are:

He's The Man DSP
Basic Black Cardstock
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Paper Trimmer

Instructions:

Cut a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card base in Basic Black.

Cut the black DSP(designer series paper) from the pack (the one with the pig on it) to the same size as the base.

Then, cut this same piece on the diagonal. Adhere this to the left side of the black base.

The rest is easy.  Punch out the grill, the arrow, and the You're Flippin Awesome pieces from the DSP pack.  Adhere them as shown.  I did add a circle of the flipside of the black DSP under the grill.  You can trace a circle, use a square, or adhere the grill directly to the DSP.  I had a few gold stars in my stash that I added for interest.  Adorable right? And a Flippin Awesome way to let your man know he is Flippin Awesome.

Isn't it just the coolest?

Thank you for visiting and Happy Crafting!

Orchid Oasis Classic Stampin Pad
Basic White Cardstock
Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder
Stamparatus
Paper Snips Scissors
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin Dimensionals
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Blending Brushes

I will build a shopping list for you on the website below under My projects.

Instructions:

Construct a standard card base using Basic White Cardstock. Cut an 8.5 x 11 in piece of cardstock in half vertically and folding to make a base that measures 5.5 x 4.25 in.

Cut another piece of Basic White Cardstock to 5.5 in. x 4.25 in. Trim 1/4 in. from the Vertical and the
Horizontal side of this panel.

We are going to color this panel using Blending Brushes and Ink from the 3 Classic Stampin pads listed above.  Starting with the Parakeet Party, dip your blending bush into the ink and tap the excess off onto a scrap piece of paper.  Slowly begin working the ink onto the panel about one third of the way down. Continue applying ink until the saturation is to your liking. Repeat with a clean brush using the Tahitian Tide into the middle of the panel blending into the Parakeet Party. Lastly, with a clean brush, repeat the process using Orchid Oasis on the bottom part of the panel blending into the Tahitian Tide.

Take this colored panel and insert into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Run the folder through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Using the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set, select the Blossoms Stamp and stamp this in Tahitian Tide ink onto Basic White cardstock.

Using the Stamparatus, place the cardstock with the Tahitian Tide Blooms onto the Stamparatus. Select the leafy Stamp from the Bottled Happiness Stamp set and place it stamp side down on top of the Tahitian Tide blooms. Line it up perfectly so the two are matched and close the lid of the Stamparatus to allow the Leafy stamp to stick.  Ink the Leafy bloom stamp with Parakeet Party ink. Wipe any excess off the lid and close to stamp onto the blossom.

Using Paper Snips Scissors, fussy cut around the blossoms and leaves image until it is completely cut out.

Select the full image bottle stamp and stamp it in Tahitian Tide onto Basic White cardstock.  Punch this image out using the Bottle Paper Punch.

Stamp the sending a little message sentiment or any other sentiment you wish and use any die cut to cut the shape around it.

Apply Stampin dimensionals to the back of the stamped blossoms image and adhere it to the colored and embossed panel.

Adhere the bottle image to the bottom of the blossoms tucking it just underneath so that it looks like the blossoms overhang the top of the bottle a bit.

Adhere your stamped and die cut sentiment to the right of the blossoms.

Voila!

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Next, we will construct the curtain fold panel. Cut a piece of Tahitian Tide Cardstock to 10 3/4 in. x 2 1/2 in. Select the blossom stamp from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set and randomly stamp across the panel with VersaMark ink.  Using the diagram {https://beccysplace.blogspot.com/2019/09/tutorial-curtain-fold-card.html} from Becky's Place blog, cut this panel on a slant to the specifications above. Score and fold at each score mark. Adhere to the Parakeet Party panel with the widest part of the curtain fold to the left leaving about 1/16 in. gap at the bottom. Apply one dimensional on the right to secure the gapped height to the card panel.

Cut a circle of Basic White Cardstock using the Stitched circle die.

Using the single blossom stamp from the Tea Boutique, stamp three little blossoms on the top of the circle in Tahitian Tide.

Stamp the "I can't thank you enough" sentiment onto Basic White Cardstock then cut it using the tiny tag from the Tea Boutique Stamp set with the Matching die.

Adhere the teacup to the bottom of the white stitched circle below the blue blossoms.

Using dimensionals, adhere the circle above the curtain fold tucking it slightly under.

Voila!

Stampin'Up! Grassy Grove

Hello stampers and crafters! Today, I have occasion to craft a thank you card for a good friend.

I really love the Stampin Up! Grassy Grove Stamps and matching dies. I also used the Mountain Air Stamp Set to create the mountains in the background.  There are several nice sentiments in the Grassy Grove set.  I chose to use "Thank You".

For this card I used Soft Suede, Garden Green and Basic White Cardstock. I used Garden Green, Sahara Sand and Balmy Blue Classic Stampin Pads.

Instructions

Cut 8.5 x 11 in Basic White Cardstock into trimmer horizontally and cut at 5.5 in. Choose one of these pieces to be the base for your card.  Fold this piece of paper to make a 5.5 in. by 4.25 in. card base. Turn the folded piece to horizontal position so that the card opens from the bottom.

Cut a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock to a 4.25 in. x 5.5 in. panel. Trim the long side of the by .25 in. and short side of the pane by 1.16 in. and adhere to the White Cardstock base leaving an even amount of white around the Soft Suede panel.

Stamp the Thank You on Basic White cardstock in Garden Green. I used the banner die from the He's All That Bundle dies, however; you can use any shape die you choose to cut this sentiment or any one you like for this greeting.

Die Cut a 4.5 in. x 5.5 in. panel of Garden Green Cardstock with the largest landscape die and remove all the negative pieces from the panel. Cut the die cut panel around the edges evenly until you achieve a 5.23 in. x 3.75 in. die cut panel.  Please read further before adhering the die cut piece to anything.

Cut a panel of Basic White Cardstock slightly smaller than the die cut piece so as not to be seen underneath. 5 and 1/8 in horizontal x 3.6 in vertical.

This is where the ink pads come in,

Starting at about 1.3 in. from the top of the horizontal side of the white panel, stamp a layer of Mountains from the Mountain Air set in Sahara Sand. You can stamp the mountains in the center and add to the sides like I did, or you can stamp half the stamp on the left of the panel and half on the right ensuring there is a line of mountains all the way across the panel.

Next, Stamp a layer of the trees and grass just below the mountains all the way across the panel.

Grab your blending brush and dab it into the Garden Green Classic Ink Pad. Tap your blending brush off on a scrap piece of paper just a bit to get the heavy ink off. Starting at the bottom of your panel, slowly work the ink onto the paper in a swirling motion up toward the grass and tree line in order to make a meadow.

Clean your blending brush, or use another, to dab into your Balmy Blue Classic ink pad. Tap off the excess on a scrap paper. Starting at the top of your mountain panel, slowly begin swirling the ink toward the mountains and all the way across the top of the panel.  Be careful not to make your mountains blue.

Adhere the landscape die cut piece over the mountain panel being careful not to let any of the mountain panel show below the die cut panel.

Die cut several deer from the Grove Dies in Soft Suede Cardstock. Adhere the deer to the top of the panel near the bottom of the die cut panel so that it looks like the dear are standing on the grass.  You can ever place a deer behind one of the trees.

This card can be a masculine card for just about any occasion.
